When WeWork co-founder Miguel McKelvey was invited to speak at SXSW 2018, we knew WeWork's local Austin presence was about to get some major global attention. For the occasion, we transformed the downtown Congress location into a WeWork experience like no other.

Over 5 days, we hosted 28 activations, inviting more than 8,000 people through our doors. Events included a "Recharge Oasis" featuring live music sponsored by Sonos, wifi, charging stations, comfortable lounge seating, and complimentary Tito's cocktails, as well as a free rooftop workout series produced in partnership with Rise By We (WeWork's wellness concept).

Our SXSW team also developed a growth enablement plan to maximize our sales team's effort throughout the week. These efforts lead to more than 3,000 new leads and dozens of office space sales.
